Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls (action – 22 may)
Wild About Movies interviewed two summers ago, before the release of his version of “War of the Worlds,” just began shooting the fourth, and presumably final, installment of “Indiana Jones,” starring Harrison Ford. “Indiana Jones 4” will hit theaters on Memorial Day 2008, nearly twenty years after “Indiana Jones 3,” “Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade” was released. Frank Darabont’s script, which had been one of the earlier drafts of “Indiana Jones 4,” was not chosen as the final draft. Forty-four year old David Koepp, who wrote the screenplay of Spielberg’s “War of the Worlds,” and first “Jurassic Park,” turned in the final “Indiana Jones 4” screenplay, based on a story by Jeff Nathanson, who has previously written “Rush Hour 2” and the upcoming “Rush Hour 3.” Stay tuned to Wild About Movies for “Indiana Jones 4” updates, and of course, interviews with Spielberg, Harrison Ford, and the rest of the “Indiana Jones 4” cast, closer to the film’s release date – “Indiana Jones 4.”
Filming of “Indiana Jones And The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” ended on October 11, 2007.Wild About Movies has learned that Sean Connery will not be reprising his role in “Indiana Jones 4″ as Indy’s dad.

The Killing of John Lennon (drama – 2 Januari)
The Killing Of John Lennon” – “The Killing Of John Lennon” is a film examining the mindset of Mark David Chapman, who gunned down John Lennon outside the Dakota in New York 28 years ago. Jonas Ball plays Mark David Chapman. “The Killing of John Lennon,” written and directed by Andrew Piddington, was financed by a group of British real estate investors, including Picture Players’ Rod Pearson. “The Killing Of John Lennon” was shot over the course of three years in Hawaii, Georgia and NYC, and is a gritty and imagistic look at the mindset of a celebrity stalker. Piddington directed two previous features, “Shuttlecock, ” starring Alan Bates, and “The Fall,” starring Jurgen Prochnow and Craig Sheffer.
The Air I Breathe (drama – 25 januari)
Air I Breathe” – A businessman (Forest Whitaker) bets his life on a horse race, a gangster (Brendan Fraser) sees the future, a pop star (Sarah Michelle Gellar) falls prety to a crime boss (Andy Garcia) and a doctor (Kevin Bacon) must save the love of his life. Based on a Chinese proverb, these four overlapping stories dramatize the four emotional cornerstones of life: happiness, pleasure, sorrow and love.
In Bruges – 8 Februari 2008 (drama action)
In Bruges” – This darkly comic suspense thriller from Academy Award-winning writer/director Martin McDonagh tells the story of hit men Ray and Ken (Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson). After a botched job in London, the team is ordered by their boss Harry (two-time Academy Award nominee Ralph Fiennes) to cool their heels in the storybook city of Bruges, Belgium. Very much out of their comfort zones, the men find themselves drawn into increasingly dangerous entanglements with locals, tourists, and a film shoot. As their stay in Bruges gets weirder, they realize Harry may have other plans for them than a simple vacation. “In Bruges” makes its debut at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival.
Jumper The Movie – 14 Februari 2008 (action)
Jumper The Movie” is based on the Steven Gould novel “Jumper” and follows a young man (Hayden Christensen) from a broken home who discovers that he has the ability to teleport. In his quest for the man he believes is responsible for the death of his mother, the kid draws the attention of the National Security Agency and another youth with the same abilities. The sexy Jamie Bell (who took over for Daniel Radcliffe in “Equus” in London, and bares it all) also stars in “Jumper.”

The Spiderwick Chronicles Movie – 15 Februari (anak-anak)

When they cross paths with Mulgarath, an ogre, they realize quickly that he will stop at nothing to get his hands on the Field Guide. Based on the bestselling series of books by Tony DiTerlizzi and Holly Black. If “The Spiderwick Chronicles” is a hit at theaters, (and that all depends on you), expect a sequel.
Vantage Point (action-22 Februari)
In the Columbia Pictures thriller “Vantage Point,” Thomas Barnes (Dennis Quaid) and Kent Taylor (Matthew Fox), are two Secret Service agents assigned to protect President Ashton (William Hurt) at a landmark summit on the global war on terror. When President Ashton is shot moments after his arrival in Spain, chaos ensues and disparate lives collide. In the crowd is Howard Lewis (Forest Whitaker) an American tourist video taping the historic event to show his kids when he returns home. Also there is Rex (Sigourney Weaver) an American TV news producer who is reporting on the conference. It’s only as we follow each person’s perspective of the same 15 minutes prior to and immediately after the shooting that the terrifying truth behind the assassination attempt is revealed.

Forbidden Kingdom 18 April (action)

Along the way, while attempting to outmaneuver scores of Jade Warriors, Cult Killers and the deadly White Hair Demoness, Ni Chang (Li Bing Bing), Jason learns about honor, loyalty and friendship, and the true meaning of kungfu, and thus frees himself.
